About me
I am a Research Meteorologist and Proving Ground Specialist with CSU/CIRA, with an extensive background and expertise in leading people and programs aimed at improving the weather enterprise, with wide-ranging experience in forecast and warning operations, R&D, management, leadership, teaching, mentoring, partnership building, and transitioning research to operations. I recently retired from NOAA after 34 years, including 9 years at the Global Systems Lab and 25 years in the National Weather Service.
